how's your weekend rockin? Yesterday, I tried archery and wall climbing with my opiz mates at Taman Cabaran (Wall Climbing Complex), Presint 5, Putrajaya. It was awesome. So i just drop by to share my experience in archery and wall climbing. Ok, let's not waste time...........
Me and my opiz mates took wall climbing beginners package under Cross Move Adventure (a company that organize extreme sports activities at Taman Cabaran). The package includes archery (as our ice breaking game), boulder climbing, and top rope climbing.

Syukur Alhamdulillah dpt juga satu bullseye walopun dah lame x try archery
Before we started wall climbing, we did our ice breaking game-archery. Archery was really fun. Seblum nie saya pernah mencuba archery. But that was long time ago. So i kena start balik as beginners la. Hehehe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! However, syukur Alhamdulillah saya dpt juga satu bullseye. Hehehe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But most of my opiz mates lagi terer leh. Ada yg dpt 6 bullseye. Tahniah.
Wall Climbing 1: Boulder Climbing
Ouch! Sakit nyer kaki ayam. Some of the rocks are sharp!
After one hour of archery game, we started our first wall climbing activity that is boulder climbing. The wall that we've clim isn't so tall. But it is very challenging. Plus boulder climbing nie kite x pakai tali and kasut to climb (tu yg sakit kaki. Batu2 agak tajam sih). However, it was still a good experience.
Wall Climbing 2: Top Rope
I almost cry up there. This is really a survival skill.
Atas sokongan coach dan rakan2, saya cuba juga sedaya upaya menuju ke puncak. Nearly there! Fighting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Syukur Alhamdulillah ^_^ finally i made it to the top!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally dah boley turun. Whew!!!!!!!!!!!
After finish boulder climbing, we tried top rope climbing. Top rope climbing nampak lagi mencabar dpd boulder climbing sbab dinding yg kami climb tu agak tinggi. But from my experience top rope is easier than boulder climbing. Sbab nyer top rope kita pakai tali and kasut. So x la sakit kaki nak pijak batu. Kehkeh ^_^. Syukur Alhamdulillah, mencabar macam mana pun top rope nie saya dpt juga climb sampai ke atas walopun badan saya sakit, rasa nak nangis atas dinding, and rasa nak give kat tengah jalan. Huhuhu...........not bad for a first timer.
At 1330 hrs we are done with the wall climbing activity. Syukur Alhamdulillah everyone was happy with the activity and experience. It was a very good experience. All of us are beginners in wall climbing. Thanx to Cross Move Adventure for providing us good package. And thanx to our two coach- En Aman & En Hafizul for the good guidance. Insya'Allah kalo kesempatan kami akan cuba lagi. Maybe next time saya akan organize activity yg sama with my cousins and angels. Hehehe!!!!!!!!!!!!
In my opinion wall climbing is a very special sports. It is not just about your physical fitness but it also challenge your mind and enhance your survival skills. It is a healthy activity to those yg suka challenges and extreme sports. Btw, do i wanna make wall climbing my hobby or part of my activity? Urm..............x sure. Hanya sekali sekala utk recreation and have fun with mates boley la kot. Tapi archery is something i want to learn and master. Insya'Allah kalo kesempatan saya nak ambil archery lessons soon.
