For the first post of 2024, I’m going to re-introduce fadimamooneira.com to new readers and share some cool stuff I’m planning to do on my blog this year. Now let’s begin this post with an introduction about the blogger behind this blog ^_^

Fadima Mooneira is a Malaysian millennial with a strong passion and enthusiasm for creative writing. She likes to geek about pop-culture, edutainment, lifestyle, beauty, and travel. Fadima brands herself as an expert in Asian pop-culture, modern literature, and romance fiction.

This INTP blogger is also a novelist and short story writer. She has published nine books ~ one novel, one solo book, one zine, and six collaboration books. Fadima’s first novel is titled Fail Merah. In 2023, Fadima participated in the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair with Fail Merah. Fadima is also an illustrator. She likes to draw pretty girls, handsome boys, and cute things.

Fadima Mooneira is a blog that provides readers with articles related to Pop-Culture, Edutainment, Lifestyle, Beauty, and Travel. This blog is geared toward millennials who are artistic, creative, imaginative, innovative, vibrant, sassy, trendy, and unique. This blog also supports and promotes Asian people and culture. 

Fadima Mooneira was founded in 2010. Fadima first created this blog as a platform for her to sell handmade accessories. Yep, Fadima used to design handmade accessories. However, due to her busy schedule, Fadima was not able to keep on track with blogging and designing accessories back then.

In 2019, Fadima returned to the blogging world. She also started joining some bloggers' communities. Later in 2020, Fadima rebranded her blog. Fadima first changed her blog's corporate color from pink to purple and yellow. She also created a mascot for this blog and named it Fadneira (the girl in purple and yellow). Besides changing the blog's corporate color and creating a mascot, Fadima also changed her writing style, content, and niches to suit FM’s existing and target readers.

FM’s mascot is called Fadneira. Fadneira was first introduced in January 2020. Back then, this mascot was only known as the Purple-Yellow Girl. The name Fadneira came in the middle of 2021. Fadneira is a mixture of Fadima and Mooneira.

This mascot has a very vibrant and sassy look to match the blog’s image. Fadneira has a petite figure, sparkling purple hair, and purple-and-yellow eyes. POP-CULTURE

Pop-culture is Fadima Mooneira’s main niche. In this niche, Fadima shares her love for Asian celebrities, music, movies, dramas, fashion, anime, and webtoons. However, this blog doesn’t carry juicy gossip ya. Juicy gossip is too low for Fadima Mooneira. Sorry makcik2 bawang ^_^

EDUTAINMENT

Edutainment is Fadima’s second favorite topic to geek about. Fadima shares articles related to arts, literature, and books in the edutainment niche. This year, Fadima plans to open the edutainment niche for self-published authors to promote their work and create fandom. If you’re a self-published author, this might be your chance to get featured on Fadima Mooneira. You can also become FM’s VIP Guest Writer ^_^

LIFESTYLE

In the lifestyle niche, Fadima shares articles related to lifestyle, self-love, and self-care. Fadima also promotes Asian lifestyle and culture in this niche to her Western readers.

BEAUTY

The beauty niche was added in 2021. After writing a review of Mamonde Bubble Face Mask, Fadima realized that she likes writing about beauty. So Fadima decided to have this niche on her blog. In the beauty niche, Fadima shares beauty product reviews, her beauty tips, and articles related to K-Beauty. This year, Fadima plans to share some articles related to eco-friendly beauty. If you’re an expert in eco-friendly beauty, you are welcome to guest post on Fadima Mooneira ^_^

TRAVEL

Traveling is one of Fadima’s hobbies. In the travel niche, Fadima shares her travel diaries and tips.

#1 FADIMA MOONEIRA ART GALLERY VIRTUAL TOUR

The Fadima Mooneira Art Gallery virtual tour is created by Fadima to promote her artworks. Every month, Fadima shares five of her artworks on this blog. This art gallery virtual tour is conducted like a museum tour with Fadima as the tour guide. This virtual tour will continue on Fadima Mooneira this year, except it will be conducted once in two months instead of monthly. Insya-Allah, the virtual tour will be back this January. So don’t miss out ^_^

#2 BOOK HEARTTHROB PROFILE

The Book Heartthrob Profile series is a place where Fadima shares her analysis of characters from her favorite novels. This series is posted monthly and it started in September 2021. The Book Heartthrob Profile series was suggested by Fadima’s best friend, Maddy M (blogger of Little Miss Book Spoiler).

The Book Heartthrob Profile series is still open to guest writers this year. You guys are still welcome to share your analysis of your favorite characters ^_^ For those who are interested, please read the second last advertisement on the Guest Writer's Desk.
