FADIMA MOONEIRA SPECIAL: My Top 5 Favorite Posts

Eiyo lovelies,

Fadima Mooneira is back with a new post. Today is 12.07.2020. In three days' time, it will be 15.07.2020. 15.07 is a remarkable date for me and my blog, Fadima Mooneira Blogspot (FMB). It's not my blog's anniversary, but 15.07.2019 is the date where I realized that blogging and creative writing is my passion and heart. 15.07.2019 was the date I started blogging again

Therefore, I would like to do a celebration. In this post, I would like to share with you guys my top five favorite posts from FMB. But before I share with you guys my top five favorites, let me share a brief of FMB history and my creative writing journey so far.......

FADIMA MOONEIRA BLOGSPOT HISTORY AND MY CREATIVE WRITING JOURNEY SO FAR.........

I started this blog 10th years ago (26.06.2010).  At that time, I just graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. I was planning to sell my handmade accessories I'm no longer doing it) through this blog. At that time, I never thought of creative writing as a passion and career.

In the middle of 2019, I started to see creative writing as a passion and decided to turn it into a career. To me, creative writing helps me to improve myself as a person and being able to express myself to others. Creative writing also helps me to share my opinions and imaginations with others. Creative writing makes me imaginative, creative, innovative, intelligent, and kind. Creative writing also helps me to improve my language (English and Bahasa Malaysia), writing, and editing skills.

On the 15 of July 2019, I started blogging again. I also rebranded FMB and make my blog specialize. I narrowed down my niches into lifestyle, travel, pop-culture, and edutainment. I also took creative writing and blogging classes to improve my writing skills and blog. Besides writing, I also learned networking, SEO, affiliates, Google Adsense, and many more. I also started joining communities

Besides writing on my blog, I also contributed articles to other websites, become a guest writer, and participated in blogger interviews on other bloggers' blogs. August last year, I collaborated with Puan Sri Diah (my mentor and one of Malaysia's famous novelists) and 18 other Malaysian authors in writing a book titled Sahabat. Sahabat is a book of short stories about Friendship. In Sahabat, I wrote a story tiled KDK-Kawan Dari Kecil. If you want to know more about Sahabat, pls feel free to click this link >> Sahabat.

During the MCO (Malaysia partial lockdown), I collaborated with Puan Sri Diah again in writing a book titled Legasi Emak. Legasi Emak is another book of short stories. The book will be released somewhere around this year. The date will be announced later. Right now, I am also writing my novel.

Ok, let's not was time. Here are my top five favorite posts from FMB. Pls, feel free to read them. If you want to read these posts, pls click the titles. Don't click the pictures.

This post is a tribute to ten gorgeous Asian actors that I admired. I enjoyed writing and working on this post. This post also makes my fellow bloggers and readers noticed my passion for creative writing, Asian Pop-Culture, and drawing. That's why this post is valuable. I featured my illustrations on this post.

This post was one of the hardest for me to write. This post is my Perak vacation travelogue. Perak is a state in Malaysia. If you want to learn about Perak, pls feel free to read this post.

The Sunshine Blogger Award was my first blogger award nomination. I was grateful to get this nomination after a month I started blogging again. That's why I appreciated it a lot. I was nominated by an African Book Blogger named Novellisteer. Novellisteer is now one of my fellow and favorite bloggers. She blogs about books, reading culture, and lifestyle. Here's a link to Novellisteer's blog >> Novellisteer

I love writing reviews about books I read. I love sharing my reading experience and opinions with others. Young and Malay (YNM) is one of the best books I read in 2018. YNM is not a novel. It's a book of short stories. All stories in YNM are written by Malay millenials sharing their life experiences growing up in multicultural Malaysia.

This post is a review of IU's fashion during her Love Poem tour last year. For this post, I created a list of my top 10 favorite fashion from IU's Love Poem tour.

Ok, that's all for now. Before I end this post, I would like to say thank you to my parents, BFFs, close friends, fellow bloggers and readers who supported me in this blogging and creative writing journey. You guys are the best. Although I am not yet a successful blogger and writer, I am grateful for the progress I made so far. I hope to continue my progress and improve better for my blogging and creative writing career.

Thank you for reading. Hope to see you guys again  ^_^

XoXo,

Fadima Mooneira ^_^

  20. It's a beautiful moment when you realize that you have found your passion, isn't it? I never would have dreamed that I would love writing and blogging as much as I do. However, like you, I got started on a blog as a means to another end. That business is no longer my focus - blogging and freelance writing has quickly become my career of choice and I couldn't be happier.
