LIPSTICK DAY 2020 SPECIAL: Three Reasons For Every Woman To Have A Red Lipstick In Their Makeup Bag

Hello love,

How's your July? I hope you guys are doing ok. Next week is already the last week of July. In the last three days of July, we will be having three celebrations back-to-back. On the 29th- we will be celebrating Lipstick Day, on the 30th- it will be Friendship Day, and on the 31st- all Muslims will be celebrating Eid Al-Hajj.

For today's post, I would like to share with you guys a Lipstick Day special. Lipstick Day is a commercial celebration celebrated by lipstick lovers, women, and makeup retailers around the world. According to Nationaltoday.com, lipstick has an interesting history. Now let me share with you guys the history of lipstick...

According to history, lipstick was invented during the Ancient Sumerian times. The first lipstick was made of crushed gemstones. During the Ancient Sumerian times, people not only used lipstick on their lips, but they also applied lipstick on their eyes and face. Could this also mean that lipstick in the first makeup in the world? Hmm.......interesting fact isn't it? ^_^

Lipstick then becomes popular in Ancient China. During Ancient China time, lipstick was made of beeswax. Lipstick also becomes popular in Ancient Greece. Lipstick was famously worn by courtesans in Ancient Greece. The popularity of lipstick continues during Queen Elizabeth I era in England, where a bright white face and hyper crimson lips were worn widely to steal the Queen's look.

The first commercial lipstick was manufactured in France during the 19th century. The first commercial lipstick was made of castor oil, deer tallow, and beeswax. Later, the Americans also started manufacturing their commercial lipstick. Plastic, paper tubes, long-lasting, no-smear lipstick was invented during World War 2 in the USA.

Lipstick manufacturers become more adventurous in creating lipstick colors during the 20th century. Fun colors like sparkling navy blue and frosty lime green were introduced during the 1970s.

Wow...lipstick has an interesting history. More interesting than I tough. No wonder Lipstick Day is highly celebrated today. Although I am not into makeup, I do love lipstick. To me, lipstick makes a woman look complete. Lipstick Day is one of my favorite commercial celebrations besides Friendship and Papero Day (Single Girls Day). During Lipstick Day every year, I usually give my galpals their favorite lipstick color. This is how I celebrated Lipstick Day every year.

My favorite lipstick color is red. To me, red lipstick has its power. It makes a woman look stunning, sexy, alluring, bold, and confident. In this post, I am going to share with you guys three reasons for every woman to have a red lipstick in their makeup bag. So here are the three reasons...

#1 IT MAKES A WOMAN LOOK BOLD YET FEMININE

According to goodhousekepng.com, red lipstick embodies strength and womanliness in equal measures. I believe this is true. Red lipstick is powerful. It makes every woman look bold, strong, and brave, but yet elegant and feminine. This is one of the reasons why I love red lipstick ^_^

#2 IT MAKES A WOMAN LOOK CONFIDENT

According to most style experts, red lipstick is the most important makeup for women. That's because the color red creates confidence in a woman's appearance even though she is feeling tired and unsure. Red lipstick radiates strength. Red lipstick is also loved by most powerful women in history that includes Cleopatra, Queen Elizabeth I, Queen Elizabeth II, and many more.

#3 IT COMPLETES AT WOMAN'S DAILY LOOK

Red lipstick is classic and timeless. It also makes a woman look complete even tho she is dress in a simple and casual outfit. A woman can always look stylish and trendy with red lipstick even tho she is only wearing a T-Shirt and jeans. That's why most style experts said red lipstick is the most important makeup for women.

Ok, so these are the three reasons for every woman to have a red lipstick in their makeup bag. Before I end today's post, let me ask my galpals, female fellow blogger, and readers four questions about lipstick.....

1) Are you a fan of red lipstick?
2) What is your favorite lipstick color?
3) Do you celebrate Lipstick Day every year?
4) If yes, how do you celebrate Lipstick Day every year?

Ok, that's all for now. Since Friendship Day is one day after Lipstick Day, I will be sharing with you guys a post about friendship. So pls stay tuned for my next post.

Last but not least, Happy Lipstick Day 2020 to my galpals, female fellow bloggers, and readers. Thank you for reading. See you guys soon.

XoXo,

Fadima Mooneira ^_^
