FADIMA MOONEIRA'S LIST: 10 HOTTEST ASIAN ACTRESSES OF 2025

I'm back from Phuket! How's everyone doing? Anyone miss me? Hehehe ^_^ Since it's already November, it's high time I share one of my annual posts ~ my list of 10 hottest Asian actresses of the year. Yay!
Before I begin the list, I have one exciting news to share. Fadima Mooneira and six Karyawan Mandiri authors, Amshida Ahmad Rani, Nabun Ahmad, Mak Chantek, Muzz Ahmad, Norden Mohamed, and Hanna Hanafi, will return to the Selangor International Book Fair 2025. The book fair will take place from the 28th of November (Friday) to 7 December 2025 (Sunday). And it will be held at the Setia City Convention Centre, Shah Alam, Selangor. Our booth number is S07. If you plan to come to SIBF, please don't forget to visit the Karyawan Mandiri booth. We have good books to offer and are looking forward to meeting you all ^_^
Now, let's proceed with today's objective. Let's begin the list with no.10 to no.1 ...
#10 QASRINA KARIM
Qasrina Karim is a Malaysian actress and model. Qasrina began her career as a model back in 2016. She first modeled for a famous hijab brand named Alhumaira. In 2021, this hijabista ventured into acting. Some of her famous dramas are Salam Squad 3.0 (2021), Senduk Swap (2022), Lagenda Puteri Qaseh (2023), Imam Instant Ustazah Scammer (2023), My Famous Ex-Boyfriend (2023), Lagenda Puteri Qaseh 2 (2024), Geng D.U.I.T (2025), and Thariq Ridzuan: His Treasure (2025). My Famous Ex-Boyfriend is the drama that set Qasrina's stardom on fire. Her acting in the drama was awesome. And her chemistry with Nadhir Nasar was electrifying. This year, Qasrina made another success as Husniya Radwa in Thariq Redzuan: His Treasure. Her chemistry with Malaysian heartthrob, Meerqeen, is also electrifying.
#9 SHIELA DARA AISHA
Shiela Dara Aisha is a 33-year-old Indonesian actress, singer, model, and entrepreneur. I discovered Aisha early this year when I watched her movie, The Most Beautiful Girl In The World, on Netflix. In the film, Aisha plays the female lead, Kiara. Her acting is natural and awesome. So I believe I need to have her on my list this year. Hehehe ^_^ Aisha began her celebrity career as a singer at the age of eight. She sang a jingle for McDonald's Indonesia advertisement and the Crayon Shin-chan soundtrack in the Indonesian language. Besides The Most Beautiful Girl In The World, some of her famous works are A Long Way Come Home, Falling In Love Like In Movies, Heartbreak Motel, Start Up Never Give Up, etc.
#8 ANNA JOBLING
Anna Jobling is a Malaysian actress, model, and TV host of Malay and British origin. Anna was a former contestant of Dewi Remaja 2018/2019 (an elite beauty pageant contest in Malaysia), and she won fourth place. Some of her famous works are Shah Alam 40000, Keluarga Baha Don, and Melur Untuk Firdaus. Anna began modelling at the age of 15. Her mother sent her to a modeling academy run by Amber Chia (Malaysia's top supermodel). Anna is very active in modeling. She has been appearing in television advertisements and magazines. She's also the commercial film queen in the Malaysian entertainment industry now. She endorses a lot of brands, from beauty to fashion to F&B.
#7 ANANYA PANDAY
Ananya Panday is a Bollywood actress who primarily works in Hindi films. The Bollywood beauty began her acting career in 2019 with roles in romantic comedy films like Student Of The Year 2 and Pati Patni Aur Woh. Her performance in these films earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Ananya's other notable works are Khaali Peeli (2020), Gehraiyaan (2022), Liger (2022), Dream Girl (2023), Kho Gaye Hum Kahan (2023), Bad Newz (2024), Kesari Chapter 2, etc.
#6 LANA CONDOR
Lana Condor is a well-known name in Hollywood. She is the pretty and adorable girl who plays Lara Jean Covey in To All The Boys I've Loved Before and its series. Lana is an Asian actress of Vietnamese origin. Besides the To All The Boys I've Loved Before series, some of her famous works are X-Men: Apocalypse, Patriots Day, Alita: Battle Angel, Summer Night, Moonshot, and Worth The Wait.
#5 BAE SUZY
If you're a fan of K-dramas, I'm sure you know who Bae Suzy is. Yup, she's the beautiful and charming lady who first stole your heart in Dream High (a 2011 high school K-drama) and Architecture 101 (a 2012 K-movie). Now she is hot with Genie, Make A Wish, an urban fantasy rom-com that is now streaming on Netflix. In the drama, she acts alongside Kim Woo Bin, with whom she once worked in Unctrobally Font (2016). Besides being an actress, Suzy is also famous as a singer and model. She was once a member of an all-girl K-pop group called Miss A. She is also one of the famous commercial film queens in Hallyu. She has endorsed elite brands like Dior and Lancome.
#4 ARIEL TATUM
Ariel Tatum is an Indonesian actress, model, and singer. She is 29 years old and a Jakarta-born. Playing the female lead character in the Indonesian version of A Business Proposal puts her name on the map. I watched the Indonesian version of A Business Proposal early this year. I believe Ariel did an excellent job channeling Sari. That's why I decided to have her on my list this year. She's also one of the cast in The Most Beautiful Girl In The World. And she did a good job in the movie as well. Cheers to Ariel! May she have a bright future.
#3 IM YOONA
K-drama goddess, Im Yoona, made an excellent comeback this year by channeling Yeon Ji Yeong in Bon Appétit Your Majesty (a romantasy drama now streaming on Netflix). Yoona is adored by fans for her talent and charisma in acting, singing, and dancing. She's also one of the chemistry queens in K-dramas and always has good chemistry with her co-stars. Yoona is also known as a good role model for young girls. She has a clean image, is hardworking, and has a heart of gold.
#2 ARDEN CHO
The success of K-pop Demon Hunter has put Arden Cho's name on the map of the world. Yup, she's the voice of the beautiful Rumi. Arden Cho is an American actress, singer, and model of Korean origin. She is famous for her role as Kira Yukimura on the MTV series Teen Wolf (2013-2016). Besides Teen Wolf, some of Arden Cho's famous projects are Pretty Little Liars (2011), Rizzoli & Isles (2021), Castle (2014), Hawaii Five-0 (2015), Tween Fest (2016), Partner Track (2022), Avatar: The Last Airbender (2024), etc.
#1 IU
South Korea's national goddess and K-pop princess, IU, did an amazing comeback this year in When Life Gives You Tangerine. Yay! She played two characters in the drama ~ Oh Ae Sun (the main character/mother), and Yang Geum Yeong (the narrator of the story/ Oh Ae Sun's daughter). I was amazed by her acting in the drama. IU always does a brilliant job when it comes to channelling her characters. And her chemistry with Park Bo Gum and Kim Seon Ho is also brilliant and electrifying. IU had won some awards with When Life Gives You Tangerines. Well, she deserves them. Her acting is just as brilliant as her singing. Besides being famous as an actress, singer, and songwriter, IU is also a good role model to young girls. Other than being talented, she is also charismatic, hardworking, committed to her craft, has a healthy image, and has a heart of gold. These reasons made me choose IU as no.1 in my list this year. And this is the third time IU is listed no.1 in Fadima Mooneira's hottest Asian actresses list. Congratulations! As a UAENA, I'm always proud of IU and wish her the best for the future. Btw, IU is going to have a new drama soon. In the drama, she acts alongside Byeon Woo Seok. Oh wow! I can't hardly wait!
