Since it's already December, I believe it's high time I share with ya a list of 10 awesome fiction books I've read in 2025. Yup, this listicle is one of fadimamooneira.com's annual traditions since 2023. Okay, now let's begin the list with no.10 to no.1 ....
PS: These aren't full reviews. They are summaries from my reviews in my reading wrap-ups ^_^
#10 RUTHLESS VOWS BY REBECCA ROSS
Ruthless Vows (RV) is a romantasy novel and the second book in the Letters of Enchanment duology. Yup, this book is the sequel to Divine Rivals. War sucks! That's the main message the author wants her readers to bring home. Yes, war is bad. It kills humanity. War is based on ego and greed. But what do you get from war? Nothing! The world will never grow and move forward because of war. RW is a work of art. I like everything in the story- the plot, storyline, premise, characters, and moral messages. All are just beautiful and blend well ^_^

#9 DIVINE RIVALS BY REBECCA ROSS
This book is more than just an urban fantasy read. It's a short novel with deep meaning. The story explores friendship, diversity, nature, the environment, and humanity. The author does a great job in blending her moral messages with the story. I like Sri Rahayu's writing style for this story. It's precise yet artsy. It suits the story and genre. I absolutely love Saltwater Society. Insya-Allah, I will read this book again in the future.

#6 MAYBE THIS IS LOVE BY MARIA MAHAT
This historical retelling novel, plus thriller, gives me Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code déjà vu. It's a very intriguing read. Every chapter ends with 'What's next?' This novel is a page-turner indeed. Leyla's Quest is also an eye-opener read for me. Reading this book gives me new knowledge of world history. It also challenged me in everything I thought I knew about world history. This novel is a mind-blowing read indeed. It makes me interested to learn about Turkish history. And it makes me want to travel to Turkey pronto. Hehehe ^_^ Puan Ninot's writing style is very sophisticated and artsy. It shows that Puan Ninot is very passionate and knowledgeable in world history. FYI, Leyla's Quest now has a Bahasa Malaysia version, Kembara Leyla. And on the blurb of the novel, Puan Ninot quoted my review. I felt so honoured. Thank you, Puan Ninot. Kembara Leyla is another novel you must not miss, guys. I'm sure I will love it when I read it next year. Hehehe ^_^

#4 CINTA TIDAK MENIPU BY AMSHIDA AHMAD RANI
This urban fantasy + thriller + self-discovery novel is a very thrilling masterpiece. Everything about it is thrilling~ the title, plot, storyline, and premise. It's a very intriguing read indeed. Every chapter ends with "What's next?" Every time I opened the book, I had a hard time putting it down. And the truth about Puspa Wangi's origin is shocking. Besides fantasy, thriller, and self-discovery, Misteri Diari Hitam (MDH) is also a spiritual awakening novel. This story has a good moral message. Allah SWT is always faithful. He won't test you with something you can't handle. Not all bad things that happened to us are bad. Everything has a silver lining. And yes, this story touches my heart deeply. I cried tears of joy towards the end of the story. MDH is a very beautiful story indeed. The story is so well-written. Congratulations, Mak Chantek ^_^

#2 DREAMLAND BY NICHOLAS SPARKS
Counting Miracles (CM) belongs in the contemporary romance and slice-of-life genre. CM is just as beautiful as all of Nicholas Sparks's novels. CM is not just a story about romantic love. It's a story about life, hope, faith, and family. Believing in qada & qadar is the main message of this story. CM has a good plot, storyline, premise, and characters. I like the connection between the three main characters. Nicholas Sparks also portrays relationships well in this story. I like the chemistry between Tanner and Kaitlyn. I like Kaitlyn's relationship with her children, Cassey and Mitch. And I also like Jasper's relationship with his dog, Arlo.
CM is a spiritual story about unconditional love. This novel is good for soul-healing. Plus, the author shares a lot of good values in this story. I absolutely love this novel a lot. I cried towards the end of the story. It touches my heart deeply. And these are the reasons why CM deserves the no.1 spot on my list this year. Congratulations, Nicholas Sparks. You will always be my all-time favorite storyteller ^_^
