WELCOMING 2026 WITH LOVE

Eiyo Fadneiras,

Welcome back to Fadima Mooneira. How are you guys doing? How's the new year been treating you so far? Are you already working on new stuff? Hehehe ^_^

In this post, I'll share my 2025 highlights and my hopes for the year ahead. Syukur alhamdulillah, 2025 was a good year for me, despite having ups and downs. Every year, there are always new achievements, experiences, lessons to be learned, and epiphanies. I'm grateful for everything. I hope 2026 will be a better year for all of us. Aamiin.

Okay, let's not waste time and begin my 2025 highlights ...

TRAVEL

As an ordinary creative, travelling is a must for me. Besides joy, travelling also gives me motivation and inspiration to do my creative works. Plus, travelling heals my soul. In 2025, I had three domestic travels and one overseas travel.

During September last year, my family and I went for a road trip in Kuantan. We went there for leisure and visited some new spots. Two weeks after returning from Kuantan, we went for a road trip to Fraser Hill. Fraser Hill is a beautiful place. It is another good spot for ordinary creatives to retreat. Thanks to our family friend for introducing Fraser Hill to us.

During December 2025, my family and I went to Langkawi to celebrate my mother's birthday. Oh wow!!! It's good to travel to Langkawi again. So many things have changed. Langkawi has become a very touristy island. Insya-Allah, I will share my Langkawi experience in my future post.

For overseas travel, my family and I traveled to Phuket again for leisure and healing. My family and I just love Phuket. The beaches are beautiful. Plus, Phuket is a good place to relax your mind and nourish your soul.

MY ACHIEVEMENTS

#1 SENT 89 COPIES OF SARANGHAEYO NAMSAN TO SELANGOR STATE LIBRARY

Me at the Selangor State Library

Syukur alhamdulillah, I made a milestone as an author in 2025. My second novel, Saranghaeyo Namsan, was accepted by the Selangor State Library. This is a huge blessing for me as an author. It means the world to me. This achievement motivates me to do better in the future. Insya-Allah. All thanks to my friend and leader of Karyawan Mandiri, Puan Amshida Ahmad Rani. Her hard work and help got Saranghaeyo Namsan and other books from Karyawan Mandiri authors in the Selangor State Library.

#2 LAUNCHED LLA'DIMA LLAMAS

My latest invention ~ Lla'Dima Llamas

In 2025, I became a certified crafter. Syukur alhamdulillah. Yay me!!! I launched my first plushie line, Lla'Dima Llamas. Lla'Dima Llamas are llama plushies created, designed, hand-sewn, and handcrafted for people who are and want to be unapologetically themselves. Each llama possesses its own unique identity.

As a plush toy lover and collector, it has always been my dream to have my own plushie line. I am very grateful for Lla'Dima Llamas. These llamas hold a special place in my heart. Thank you to those who have supported Lla'Dima Llamas. And please keep on supporting Lla'Dima, guys. Let's make Lla'Dima Llamas as huge as Jellycat, Labubu, and Fuggler. Aamiin. #3 BECAME A PRE-LOVED BOOK SELLER

The Crazy Rich Asian series ~ all three sold out.

Participating in the Hentian Buku Selangor back in December 2024 inspired me to become a pre-loved book seller. And during the middle of last year, I made that wish come true. Syukur alhamdulillah. Thanks to my bestie, Maddy M (who is also a pre-loved book seller), for the knowledge shared. Alhamdulillah, so far I'm doing well as a pre-loved book seller. Insya-Allah, I will upload more pre-loved books to my online shop soon. So stay tuned ^_^ To shop for pre-loved books at my online shop, feel free to click on this link >> PRE-LOVED BOOKS @ FADNEIRA_ON94U

#4 BEING NOMINATED FOR PNM 2025/2026 BOOK AWARDS

Besides having my book at the Selangor State Library, two of my novels, Fail Merah and Saranghaeyo Namsan, got nominated for the PNM 2025/2026 Book Awards. This is another milestone for me. Plus, it's an almost dream come true. Syukur alhamdulillah. However, I'm not putting high hopes on winning this award. There are still a lot of things for me to learn. Being nominated is already an achievement and blessing for me. Thank you to those who voted for Fail Merah and Saranghaeyo Namsan.

#5 PARTICIPATED IN SIBF 2025

Me (left) with Puan Amshida Ahmad Rani (fellow author and leader of Karyawan Mandiri) at SIBF 2025

Syukur alhamdulillah, in 2025, I got the chance to participate in the Selangor International Book Fair (SIBF). The event was held at Setia City Convention Centre, Shah Alam, from November 28 to December 7, 2025. This is my second time participating in SIBF. Participating in book events is more than just about making sales and promoting my work. It's also about creating networks in the industry, making new friends, and meeting up with good old friends. Yeah, book events are good for reunions. Hehehe ^_^ Yesterday, I posted my SIBF 2025 write-up on my author's website, so feel free to check it out >> FADIMA MOONEIRA @ SIBF 2025

SELF-LOVE PRACTICE

Besides working on my dreams, I am also busy working on myself. Since September 2024, I have learned that self-love has two parts. Part one of the self-love practice requires you to appreciate your light. This includes prioritizing yourself, setting boundaries, and celebrating your wins (big and small). I started this practice years ago and did well. The first part of the self-love practice made me a better version of myself. Syukur alhamdulillah.

But the self-love practice does not end with you appreciating your light, and this is where part two begins. Part two of the self-love practice is terrifying because it forces you to embrace your shadows as well. Yep, the second part of the self-love practice requires you to treat your flaws the same way you treat your strengths, quit self-doubt, forgive yourself for your past mistakes, forgive those who have hurt you before, and make peace with your past traumas. I know this sounds overwhelming, intense, and uncomfortable. That's how I feel when I first begin the second part of my self-love practice. In fact, I keep questioning myself... "Do you think you will pass this practice, Fadima?" It's not easy, and success can't be achieved in a fortnight. I was required to walk into a roaring fire without my armour. Sounds terrifying, right?

But hey... the second part of the self-love practice is important for me. And since I did well with the first part, Insya-Allah I will do well with the second part. And during this second part of self-love practice, I fixed my daily prayers, do more solat sunat, practice gratitude, do more journaling, and do more fitness workouts. I started yoga last year and am now quite addicted to it. Yoga is not just a fitness workout for me. I also see it as a self-love practice as it also nourishes my mind, heart, and soul.

And for the second part of self-love practice, I educate myself that I'm not perfect and will never be. Yup, I have flaws. But I'm real. And being a flawed person does not make me less than anyone else. Yes, I'm whole, loved, and enough. This is the mantra I used every morning. Syukur alhamdulillah. It works well so far. I'm not there yet. But I am healing and slowly aligning with my higher self. I learned to press the mute button on my inner critic and listen to my soul more. I'm falling in love with myself more and more, inside and out ^_^ I am becoming the love that I seek. And love is my middle name. I'm grateful for what I'm doing, my experiences, both good and bad. They are all valuable to me. Focusing on inner work also makes me trust Allah SWT's timing and plans for me more. Syukur alhamdulillah ^_^

I also learned to reduce productivity anxiety. Ever since I started my writing journey back in 2020, I have had productivity anxiety. I always feel bad when I'm not able to do my creative work. Last year, I learned to cool down and take things easy. I realized delays aren't punishments. Delays are preparations for bigger blessings. Besides reducing productivity anxiety, I also learned not to judge my life and year based on my achievements. Every year is a good year for me. Small and simple joys are blessings as well. So appreciate them. Plus, simple joys are one of the keys to success. Hehehe ^_^

MY HOPE FOR 2026

#1 TO PUBLISH MY THIRD NOVEL

Yasmeen Aizura ~ my new FL. She is modelled after Zendaya ^_^

I'm now working on my third novel. I hope I will be able to publish it this year. Aamiin. Please pray that everything will be at ease for me ^_^ The novel I'm working on now is a spin-off of my second novel, Saranghaeyo Namsan. Yup, the third novel is about Maya Juhara's younger sister, Yasmeen Aizura. I'm looking forward to sharing Yasmeen's adventure with you guys. Hope it will be a big hit. Aamiin.

#2 TO PARTICIPATE MORE IN BOOK EVENTS

As an author, of course, I want to participate more in book events. I want to make sales, promote myself and work, meet new friends, and have reunions with good old friends. Hehehe ^_^ So all the best to me ^_^

#3 HAVE MY BOOKS IN LIBRARIES

Besides publishing new books and participating in events, I also want to have my books in libraries. Sending 89 copies of Saranghaeyo Namsan to the Selangor State Library is a huge milestone for me as an author. I am forever grateful for that achievement and experience. Thank you, Selangor State Library ^_^

#4 I WANT TO CREATE MORE PLUSHIES

Last year, I introduced LLa'Dima Llamas to the world. This year, I hope to create more plushies in my plush toy line. Insya-Allah, I am drafting some ideas. But no spoilers, yeah. Just stay tuned and pray that everything will be at ease for me. Hehehe ^_^

Okay, this is all I want to share with you guys in my second post of 2026. As for this blog, everything will remain the same at the moment ~ the blogging time, the number of posts I share weekly, corporate color, niche, etc.  Btw, I'm planning to feature ordinary creatives on my blog this year. So, if you're an ordinary creative (author, blogger, artist, musician, etc), I'm happy to have you on my blog. Please let me know if you're interested ^_^ Fadneira is still the mascot of fadimamooneira.com. Insya-Allah, I will share new fan arts of her in my first art gallery of the year. So stay tuned. Hehehe ^_^

Okay, I guess this is all. Till we meet again. And let's welcome 2026 with love ^_^

XoXo,

Fadima Mooneira ^_^
