BOOK HEARTTHROB PROFILE: KEIR MACRAE FROM DEVIL IN DISGUISE

Eiyo dearies,

It's the middle of Ramadan already. How are you guys doing so far? I hope you guys are doing great ^_^

The Book Heartthrob Profile series is back with a brand new book heartthrob. Today, I'm going to share my analysis of Keir MacRae. He is a book heartthrob created by Lisa Kleypas in her latest novel, Devil In Disguise. Now let's check out Keir's profile...

KEIR MACRAE PROFILE

NAME: Keir MacRae

AGE: 33 years old (It was mentioned by the author)

NATIONALITY: He was raised and grew up as a Scottish. But when it comes to origin, he was actually an English.

OCCUPATION: Whiskey Distiller

HIS ROLE IN THE STORY: He was the female protagonist, Lady Merritt Sterling's love interest.

HIS GOALS: Keir was living his life in danger. Someone wanted him dead, and Keir doesn't know why. So Keir's main goals were to be safe and avoid being killed.

HIS PERSONALITY

One of Keir MacRae's love quotes to Lady Merritt

Lisa Kleypas portrayed Keir as a very romantic and charming Scotsman. He loved and cherished Lady Merritt dearly. He also appreciated her kindness to him. I like the nickname that Keir gave Merrit. He called her 'My Heart'. That sounds so romantic ^_^

Besides being romantic and charming, Keir was also portrayed as a hot-headed person. He was not easy to please. And even though Keir was a dude in distress, he was still strong at heart. Keir was brave enough to fight his own fight.

HIS PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES

Keir was a very handsome Scotsman. He was tall, huge, and masculine. He had blonde hair and blue eyes. Keir also had the rough-and-rugged Scotsman look. Lady Merrit found him attractive with the rugged look.

A snippet from Devil In Disguise. Lady Merrit was talking about Keir with her BFF, Lady Phoebe.

HIS BACKSTORY

Keir knew that he was an adopted child of the MacRaes. But he loved them dearly as much as they loved him. The MacRaes raised and treated Keir as if he was their own son. Keir also loved and treated the MacRaes as if they were his real parents.

Keir doesn't know who his real parents were. His real father was a Duke and one of the wealthiest men in England. His real mother, Lady Cordelia also came from a wealthy family and she was an heiress. Lady Cordelia was the reason why someone wanted Keir dead.

The Duke and Lady Cordelia never got married. They only had an affair. Lady Cordelia found out that she was pregnant after her affair with the Duke ended. She went to Scotland to give birth to Keir. She later gave Keir to the MacRaes. The MacRaes did not have any children and they have been wanting a child.

Just before Lady Cordelia passed away, she wrote a letter to the Duke. She informed him that they had a child together and the child is now in Scotland. Lady Cordelia wanted all her inheritance to go to Keir. So she told the Duke to look after and make sure Keir is safe.

MY OVERALL REVIEW OF THE CHARACTER

To me, Keir MacRae is a very charming and attractive man for his physical appearance. I like that Lisa Kleypas created Keir as a very tall, huge, and masculine guy. I also like his rough-and-rugged Scotsman look. I believe it's very sexy.

Keir is also a very cute character. I find his Scottish accent very adorable. I like the way he speaks. I also like that he calls Lady Merritt 'My Heart'. That's absolutely sweet and romantic.

But I also have to be honest, that I did not have a crush on him while reading Devil In Disguise. To me, Keir MacRae is just an a-ok-hunk. But he is not a hunk that I would date or fall in love with.

Ok, so this is my analysis of Keir MacRae. I hope you guys enjoy reading this analysis. And I hope this analysis will make you guys feel interested to read Devil In Disguise by Lisa Kleypas. Devil In Disguise is a cool historical romance novel to read. The storyline and plot are very intriguing. Plus, this book is a page-turner. But the Devil In Disguise is not a novel for teenagers under 18. It's because this novel has more than five erotic romance scenes ^_^

Ok, this is all for now. Thank you for reading my analysis of Keir Macrae from Lisa Kleypas' Devil In Disguise. The Book Heartthrob Profile series will be back in May 2022. So please don't miss out.

And before I end this post, I would like to ask my readers two questions. Who is your favorite book heartthrob? And why?

Ok, I'll see you guys again in my next post. Take care.

XoXo
