ABOUT THE ROMANCIPATION OF MAGGIE HUNTER

The Romancipation Of Maggie Hunter (TROMH) belongs in the romantic comedy and chick-lit genre. The whole story was set in London and it followed a glamourous woman named Maggie Hunter.

Maggie Hunter was living the life she always wanted. She had a successful career and was in a serious relationship with a guy named Max French. Max was smart, caring, and funny. He was every women’s dream guy.

In the middle of the story, Max wanted Maggie to move in with him. But Maggie was not sure if she was ready to go from 'me' to 'we’. Maggie had always been scared of commitment. Will she move in with Max?

Maggie had a best friend named Eloise. Eloise had different life goals than Maggie. Unlike Maggie, Eloise wanted commitment in a relationship. Eloise was dating a guy named Jake. And Jake was not keen on commitment.

So Maggie needed a man like Jake, and Eloise needed a man like Max. At least that's how it seemed to Maggie. But will it be easy for Maggie and Eloise to switch partners? Will it be easy for Max and Jake to switch partners either?

MY REVIEW OF THE ROMANCIPATION OF MAGGIE HUNTER

Overall, I describe this novel as funny. TROMH has a funny storyline, funny characters, and a funny plot twist at the end of the story. This novel is an enjoyable read although the story did not touch my heart.

I like the way Sigaloff created the characters in this story. All of them has their dilemma. It’s like what their having now is not what they need and want. Eloise wants commitment. She also wants to get married and started her own family. But her boyfriend, Jake is not into those things. And as for Maggie and Max, Maggie is not ready for commitment. But the guy that she’s dating wants commitment, marriage, and kids. Wow… complicated. Well, life can be this complicated.

Overall, I rate this novel 7/10. I still would recommend it to those who are into the romantic comedy and chick-lit genre. I also would recommend TROMH to those who are looking for something light to read. This novel is good for light reading, guys. Btw, this novel has a lovely cover. Love the lavender color ^_^

Ok, so this is my review of The Romancipation Of Maggie Hunter by Jane Sigaloff. Has anyone read this novel? If yes, what are your opinions of this novel?

Ok, this is all for now. Thank you for reading my review. I’ll see you guys again in my next post. Take care.

XoXo,
