Having a good night sleep is one of the most important health components. According to health experts, adults age 18-60 need at least 7-9 hours of sleep each night. But sleeping for at least 7 hours doesn't come easy for some us. Those who are working in the creative industry and self-employed usually have a hard time falling asleep at night, including me as well. It's because our brain is moving and oozing with ideas before we go to bed. Am I right?
Health experts already suggested some ways for us to improve our Zzzzzzz. One of the ways is drinking the right beverages before going to bed. So in this post, I am going to share with you guys my top 5 favorite beverages before bedtime. So far, these beverages help me to have a good night sleep.
#1 Chamomile Tea
Chamomile tea is my no.1 favorite beverage before bedtime. Drinking chamomile tea helps me to be calm and feel relax at night. Even health experts already listed chamomile tea as one of the best beverages to drink before bedtime. It really helps you to improve your Zzzzzzzzz.
#2 Green Tea
Green tea is an Asian woman's best friend. It's because green tea also contributes to our beauty besides just health. Drinking green tea at night is really refreshing. Besides making me sleep like a baby at night, green tea also helps me with my weight and complexion.
#3 Hot Chocolate
Hot chocolate is one of my all-time favorite beverages. When I was living in Manchester, hot chocolate has always been my companion during winter days. Drinking hot chocolate at night makes me think of happy things. It also makes me feel that my troubles are far away. That's how hot chocolate helps me with my Zzzzzzzzz.
#4 White-Hot Chocolate
I just discovered white-hot chocolate during my London vacation in 2018. White-hot chocolate is just as good as the normal hot chocolate. Drinking white-chocolate at night makes me think of happy things as well.
#5 Lemon-And-Ginger Tea
Lemon-And-Ginger tea is one of my favorite beverages before bedtime. The taste of lemon and ginger is very refreshing and calming. I just can't say no to the aroma. Hehehe. Lemon-And-Ginger tea is also a good detox drink for me. It helps me with my weight.
