FOUR REASONS TO BINGE-WATCH PERFECT CROWN
Perfect Crown is now one of the hottest and most-watched K-dramas. The drama is now streaming on Disney+ and falls under the romantic comedy genre, with a theme that reimagines South Korea as a royal country. Yup, if you want to know what it's like if South Korea is still ruled by a royal family, watch Perfect Crown ^_^
The story is set in the 21st century in South Korea and follows a wealthy conglomerate girl named Seong Hui-Ju (IU). Hui-Ju seeks to overcome the social stigma of her commoner, illegitimate status by proposing a contract marriage to Grand Prince I-an (Byeon Woo-Seok). Prince I-an is facing political pressure from his late brother's wife, Queen Dowager Yoon Yi-Rang (Gong Seung-Yeon). The Queen Dowager keeps accusing Prince I-an of plotting to steal the throne from her son, 8-year-old King I-Yun (Kim Eun-Oh).
The pressure Prince I-an faces makes him agree to marry Hui-Ju. But the problem doesn't rest with their contract marriage. Prince I-an's union with Hui-Ju meets intense backlash from the royal family, Prime Minister Min Jeong-Woo (Noh Sang-Hyun), who also has feelings for Hui-Ju, and the skeptical public. As Prince I-an and Hui-Ju navigate their challenging life together, their transactional alliance gradually transforms into a genuine romance. Will Prince I-an and Hui-Ju surrender to true love?
Perfect Crown is the K-drama that I'm currently binge-watching. So far, I enjoy the drama a lot. I believe it is a very entertaining drama to binge-watch. The plot is interesting. The storyline is intriguing. IU and Byeon Woo-Seok's acting is soooooo awesome. So in today's post, I'm going to share with you guys the four reasons to binge-watch Perfect Crown. #1 IU & BYEON WOO-SEOK'S MESMERIZING CHEMISTRY
Before I watched Perfect Crown, I never thought that IU and Byeon Woo-Seok would look good together on camera. But when I started to watch the drama, my mouth just said, "Whoa!!!" They are such a stunning on-screen couple. Both look so regal and elegant. Yes, I hope they will win the best couple at any drama award this year ^_^
#2 THE STUNNING FASHION
If you're a fashion lover or fashionista, Perfect Crown is a K-drama you must not miss! The fashion in this drama is sooooooo absolutely stunning and glowing. As a fashion lover, watching Perfect Crown always makes my eyes sparkle with excitement. Hehehe!!!!!! IU's fashion in Perfect Crown is absolutely classy, elegant, and trendy. Love all the J.Estina jewelry she wears. And mostly, I love the way the stylist dresses Byeon Woo-Seok in the drama. His fashion is a mixture of modern and traditional looks. Prince I-an loves wearing handboks inside his corporate blazers. That's so elegant and sexy. Auuuuuuuw!!!!!!!!!! Insya-Allah, in the future, I will write a post about IU and Byeon Woo Seok's fashion in Perfect Crown.
#3 BYEON WOO-SEOK'S DREAMY LOOK
The actor who played the male lead is one of the reasons why you must watch Perfect Crown. Well, not just because his acting is awesome. Btw, that goes without saying. Hehehe ^_^ Byeon Woo-Seok looks so eye-candy in the drama. His stunning looks and styling make me feel so goo-goo-gaa-gaa looking at him. Hehehe ^_^
#4 THE DRAMA HAS THE NEW ADULT ROMANCE VIBE
If you love reading new adult romance novels written by Ana Huang, Lauren Asher, Anjell, Elvroseth, and also Fadima Mooneira (hehehe ^_^), Perfect Crown is a drama you must binge-watch. Yup, this drama is an adult fairytale romance. Plus, contract marriage is a very trending trope in the romance genre now. And Seong Hui-Ju's character is so like Vivian Lau (the female lead in Ana Huang's King of Wrath).
