FOUR REASONS TO VISIT TEDDYVILLE MUSEUM
Eiyo Fadneiras,
How's July been treating you so far? I hope you guys are having a good month ^_^ Today, I'm going to share a travel-related post here. Last month, I visited TeddyVille Museum in Penang for the second time (I first visited there in 2018). So let's geek about TeddyVille Museum together ^_^
TeddyVille Museum is Malaysia's first and only museum dedicated to teddy bear lovers and collectors like me ^_^ It is also known as the cutest museum in Malaysia. The museum shares a collection of 1,000 teddy bears from different nations and eras, dating back to the 1900s. Visitors can learn about the history of teddy bears by visiting TeddyVille. Besides providing you with knowledge about teddy bears, this museum also serves as a 'Mini Penang', sharing the history of the island. The museum uses miniature and human-sized teddy bears to portray the rich cultural history, famous landmarks, local street food, and iconic personalities of Penang.
Besides the exhibition, TeddyVille Museum also provides its visitors with an adorable souvenir shop. At the shop, visitors can shop for the museum's souvenir, teddy bears (they have Steiff), and other cute things. You can also DIY your teddy bear bag charm there. The host, Uncle Ben, and Uncle Tan give amazing service. They'll make TeddyVille feel like home for you ^_^
This very adorable and cute museum is located inside the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Penang, at 56 Jalan Low Yat, 11100 Batu Feringghi, Penang (near the beach). The TeddyVille Museum operates from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm. The fees for this museum are as follows:
Adults (13-59 years old) >> RM32.00
Children (2-12 years old) >> RM20.00
Students & Senior Citizens (60 and above) >> RM26.00
Infant & Toddlers (under 2 years old) >> Free
Senior Citizens Above 70 >> Free
Okay, so this is my summary of the TeddyVille Museum in Penang. Now, let me share with you the four reasons to visit this cute and adorable museum. We shall begin with reason no.1...
#1 THIS MUSEUM BRINGS POSITIVE VIBES
As the cutest museum in Penang, TeddyVille gives its visitors positive vibes. Visiting this cute museum will definitely make you happy. Plus, the host, Uncle Ben, and Uncle Tan are two joyful people. They'll make you smile the whole day ^_^ Yes, this museum can also serve as a stress reliever.
#2 IT GIVES YOU KNOWLEDGE ABOUT TEDDY BEARS
Teddy bears aren't just toys for you to snuggle up with. These cuties are special and vintage. Visiting TeddyVille will make you truly learn about teddy bears ~ how teddy bears begin, who invented them, what are the messages that teddy bears bring to the world, how teddy bears changed humanity, what teddy bears are made for, etc. As a teddy bear lover, visiting this cute museum always fascinates me.
#3 IT GIVES YOU KNOWLEDGE ABOUT PENANG
Penang is an island rich with culture, history, and heritage. Visiting TeddyVille helps you to refresh your knowledge of Penang. Like I said above, this museum acts as a mini Penang. Visiting the museum makes you feel like you have visited the whole of Penang with cute fuzzy friends greeting you everywhere ^_^
#4 IT'S THE CUTEST MUSEUM IN MALAYSIA
I believe everyone who has visited TeddyVille can't deny that this museum is the cutest in Malaysia. Hehehe ^_^ If you guys ask me if TeddyVille is a must-visit in Malaysia, my answer will definitely be YES! TeddyVille Museum is a must-visit in Malaysia, guys! Especially if you travel to Penang. Especially if you love cute things. And I'm sure one of my fellow bloggers, Dazed Mari, will be thrilled to visit this museum. Mari is also a lover of cute things. Hehehe ^_^
Since I already mentioned that TeddyVille Museum is full of positive vibes, this place will definitely make you calm and feel at home. This museum will bring back good memories of your childhood. And you won't be afraid to bring out your inner child again once you visit TeddyVille. This museum is just sooooo amazing. Thank you for your kind and awesome hospitality, Uncle Ben and Uncle Tan. I love the teddy bears I got from the souvenir shop. I hope to visit TeddyVille again in the future. And I hope I will be invited there to share about Lla'Dima Llamas (a handmade plushie I invented and sell). But... Lla'Dima Llamas are llamas. Hopefully, they will welcome other plush toys to TeddyVille in the future. Hehehe ^_^
Okay, so these are the four reasons to visit TeddyVille Museum in Penang. To those who have visited TeddyVille, tell me, what are your thoughts of the museum? Did you enjoy your visit there? Will you return there again? Thank you for reading this post. Insya-Allah, I'll see you guys again in my next post. Take care ^_^
