ABOUT LAUREN ASHER

The new adult romance queen ~ Lauren Asher (Image: joelbooks.com)

Lauren Asher is an American author. Contemporary and new adult romance is her genre. Asher enjoys writing about flawed yet relatable characters readers can't help falling in love with. She also likes to create fictional worlds readers wish were real.

Asher is now listed as one of the romance genre's New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Sunday Times, Globe And Mail, and Publisher Weekly bestselling authors. Wow! This is so inspiring. Besides writing, this pretty young author also loves crafting projects, spending time with family, and scrolling through Zillow.

ABOUT THE FINE PRINT

The Fine Print (TFP) is the first book in the Dreamland Billionaires series. The Dreamland Billionaire series tells the story of three billionaire brothers with an inheritance clause and a fairy tale empire. Dreamland is a fictional theme park located in Orlando, Florida. Most fans believe Dreamland is modeled after Disney World.

TFP follows Rowan Kane, the youngest brother of the Dreamland Billionaires. Rowan is a ruthless businessman and workaholic with an iceberg persona. He hardly smiles and laughs. Rowan only cares about work and renovating Dreamland. But along came Zahra Gulian...

Zahra is the opposite of Rowan. She's a happy-go-lucky girl with a sunshine persona. Zahra does not care about what other people think of her. Most important she is happy being herself.

One day, Zahra gets drunk and she submits a proposal criticizing Dreamland's most expensive ride. Zahra thought she'd be fired. But surprisingly, Rowan offers Zahra a job as one of Dreamland's inventors. Oh wow!!! Being an inventor is something Zahra has been dreaming of all this while.

But working with Rowan Kane isn't easy for Zahra. Rowan is a very rude boss. And working with Zahra is not easy for Rowan either. They are so the opposite of each other. They quarrel and argue with each other a lot until one day... Rowan kisses Zahra. Zasss!!! It happens unexpectedly.

As days go by, Rowan and Zahra start falling for each other. Zahra is open about her feelings for Rowan. But Rowan tries to hide and hold his feelings for Zahra. To Rowan, he is born a villain. And villains like him don't get happy endings. Ouch! That's what Rowan always thought.

So, can Zahra make Rowan open his heart and change his mind? You must read The Fine Print to find out...

MY REVIEW OF THE FINE PRINT

To be honest, TFP is the first book by Lauren Asher that I've read. But this book is strong enough to make me fall in love with the author's works. Yep, I'm a new member of the LA fandom now. And I'm so looking forward to reading Lauren Asher's other works. Hehehe ^_^

TFP is a very enjoyable read. The premise of this story is unique. Plus, Asher also made me learn about theme parks and the hospitality business. I've been a fan of theme parks. I love visiting theme parks. But before I read TFP, I had no idea of what goes behind the scenes. Hehehe ^_^

TFP has a very intriguing plot and storyline. Plus, Zahra and Rowan's chemistry is so intense. The plot, storyline, and chemistry tension between Zahra and Rowan make the book a page-turner indeed. It really makes you want to know what happens next.

I agree with what other readers said about the characters that Asher creates. All characters in TFP are make-believe people. All of them are not perfect and have their own vulnerable side. I like Zahra's character the most. She is a very strong-willed heroine. She reminded me of Anne Shirley from L.M Montgoemery's classic, Anne Of The Green Gables. Even though Rowan Kane is a man with an iceberg persona, I still find him dreamy. I like the way he talks. Hehehe ^_^

Overall, I rate TFP 10/10. I definitely enjoyed this novel a lot. Insya-Allah, I will re-read this novel in the future. I highly recommend my fellow bookworms to check out TFP, especially those who are into romantic stories with alpha male heroes and go-getter heroines. Trust me, guys, this book is swoon-worthy. However, I need to be honest that this book has more than five spicy romance scenes in it. So it is not suitable for those who are under 18.

Okay, so this is my review of Lauren Asher's The Fine Print. Thank you for reading my review. Is there anyone here a fan of Lauren Asher? If yes, which Lauren Asher's book is your favorite? And what do you like about her writings?

Okay, this is all for now. Thank you for reading. Have a good day. Khungang hasaeyo ^_^

XoXo,

Fadima Mooneira ^_^

  2. Hi Fadima! Great review! I love that you were able to learn something from the book! It seems like this author did her research! That’s the beauty of writing! You learn new things! There’s one comic I am reading that follows a psychologist. The author really did his research for it! He even got to visit a psychiatric ward in order to gain new information for his story! It was really impressive! I can tell Lauren Ssher probably puts in the same effort into her writing.

  4. Enemies to Lovers is always an interesting plot because the reader waits for the two characters to realize they have more in common than they think. This plot alone makes me want to read this book.
