FIVE THINGS THAT MAKE MANCHESTER EPIPHANY AN ULTIMATE COZY READ
Eiyo Fadneiras,
Welcome back to my blog. First, Happy Autumn to my friends in the Northern Hemisphere. Yay!!! The cozy season has begun. And Happy Rainy Season to my friends in Malaysia. Btw, I love the rainy season. I always find the rainy season romantic. Huhuhu ^_^ Btw, the rainy season is considered the cozy season in Malaysia. Our country only has summer throughout the year. Ahax!
The cozy season is a season to celebrate for all bookworms. The cozy season is the time when we all indulge ourselves in reading, cozing up on the sofa, wrapping our bodies in blankets, and drinking our favorite warm beverages. Ooohhh... I love this activity ^_^
My latest novel, Manchester Epiphany, is labeled as a cozy read. The story is lighthearted, set in Manchester, and mostly takes place during the autumn season. So in this post, I'm going to share five reasons that make Manchester Epiphany an ultimate choice for a cozy read. Now let's begin with reason no.1...
PS: If you wanna know more about Manchester Epiphany and read its blurb, click on this link >> SEVEN FUN FACTS ABOUT MANCHESTER EPIPHANY
PS: If you wanna read the first few chapters of the novel, head into my author's page >> F.MOONEIRA'S BOOKSHELF. The first few chapters are available for free reading ^_^
#1 THE AROMATIC PERFUME THEME
The male lead, Arban Batsaikhan, is a professional perfumer working at Floria Shine (a fictional beauty brand). This makes the story heavily steeped in sensory and aromatic details. In the story, I frequently describe rich, comforting scents like custom fragrances, coffee blends, and floral undertones. This narrative naturally creates a highly soothing, aesthetic reading experience for readers.
#2 THE COMFORTING GREEN FLAG RELATIONSHIP
The relationship between Yasmeen (the FL) and Arban is built on absolute trust, emotional maturity, and mutual support. The absence of toxic drama, betrayal, and intense relationship angst makes Manchester Epiphany a safe, comforting world for readers to delve into.
#3 THE STORY FEATURES CHIC YET COZY LOCATIONS
The story transitions beautifully between the vibrant lifestyle of Kuala Lumpur and the cozy, atmospheric streets of Manchester. For Manchester Epiphany, I lean into comforting settings such as quaint European-like cafes, rainy-day backdrops, and personal studios. This makes readers want to curl up with a hot drink.
#4 THE STORY SHARES AN UPLIFTING, SOUL-DEEP MESSAGE
Manchester Epiphany is not just another chic romance novel. It's a story of self-discovery and personal growth. Its inherently hopeful and motivating tone leaves readers feeling inspired, peaceful, and uplifted by the final page.
#5 THE STORY CARRIES AN INSPIRING, FEEL-GOOD VIBE
In Manchester Epiphany, Yasmeen and Arban help each other find their true self. They are each other's mirror and catalyst. The message that I want my readers to bring home is inherently hopeful and motivating. I want my readers to feel uplifted, warm, and inspired about their own life journeys rather than emotionally drained.
Okay, so these are the five things that make Manchester Epiphany an ultimate cozy read. The story is healing and comforting. And as the writer of Manchester Epiphany, I also learned a lot of things about life, healing, personal growth, and even myself. Yes, writing Manchester Epiphany makes me question everything I thought I knew about life and myself.
Manchester Epiphany is also based on my experience living and studying in Manchester during my early 20s. It's one of the most beautiful chapters of my life. Yasmeen Aizura is a character I created after the younger me. The girl who had big dreams (still now ^_^) but was always confused, got distracted easily, and was never specific. Hehehe >_< But now, she has found her way ^_^ However, my story has no British-Mongolian hunk in it. If yes, I would not be single now. Hehehe :P
Alhamdulillah, I'm happy and grateful for my life and this writing journey so far. I'm not there yet. But I'm on my way and will always keep on thriving. Fighting! Thank you to those who have been supporting me throughout my career as an author. Your support means the world to me <3 And thank you to those who have bought and read Manchester Epiphany and my previous works (Fail Merah and Saranghaeyo Namsan). To those who are planning to buy Manchester Epiphany, thank you in advance. This book is available on Shopee and Book Capital. Before I end this post, I want to ask my readers two related questions. What's your favorite cozy read? And what makes you enjoy the book? And for those who have read my latest book, what is your favorite thing about Manchester Epiphany?
Okay, this is all for now. I'll see you guys in my next post. Insya-Allah. Take care ^_^
XoXo,
Fadima Mooneira ^_^

ReplyDeleteLupa nak sign pulak kat komen nie. ~Maddy 😅😂
DeleteMy best cozy read is Manchester Epiphany by Fadima Mooneira ;)
DeleteBeb! I like that you make Arban a professional perfumer. It makes ur ML unique compared to other MLs in Bahasa Malaysia romance novels. And his British-Mongolian origin memang win!
To me, Yasmeen Aizura is the best FL in FMU. I like that she is a messy person, but still have courage utk memperjuangkan hidup dia. Yasmeen is proof that a woman doesn't have to be flawless to be on the winwin situation.
And mostly, I admire that you put ur heart in ME. I can strongly feel you. ME is not just a book that showcases ur writing talent. It also showcases ur talent in drawing, craft, etc. And you blend ur knowledge in fashion well with ur story. Syabas beb! Teruskan usaha! Ur a star!!!!!!!!!!!!
Opps!!! Spt Maddy, aku pun lupa nak sign name :P This is Lynna btw.
DeleteMaddy: What about the halal wagyu steak Arban and Yasmeen love so much? Hehehe >_<
DeleteLina: Auuuuuuw!!!!! Thank you, Lina. What you said motivates to do better in future. Thank you for making my day ^_^ Namun, hang dan Maddy memang sehati sejiwa. Dua2 lupa mo sign name. Hahaha >_<
DeleteTo Fatin: tak pernah makan wagyu steak, so tak dapat imagine pula macam mana rasanya 😆
DeleteTo Lina: I banyak kali sign in to Google utk comment, tapi tetap jadi Anonymous. So terpaksa lar sign manual jer setiap kali komen. Tak sangka ada geng 🤣
Fadima: Ur welcome, lovely. And btw, kau pun same aje dgn aku and Maddy. Kenapa kau comment as anonymous in ur own blog? hehehehehehe!!!!!!!!!!
DeleteMaddy: Same here lah. Tapi jgn risau. Sebab tokeh blog pun sehati sejiwa jugak dgn kita beb ;)
Maddy: Owh! Wagyu sgt sedap! Daging dia lembut and tasty. You can try one at Menate.
DeleteLina: Mak ai ambo! Terlalu excited sgt nak geeking pasal karya sendiri dgn kalian sampai terlupa nak sign in name sendiri. Muakakakakakakaka!!!!!!!!!!!! :P
Hahahahahaha!!!!!!!!! Comel sungguh kau ni, beb! Btw, aku curious jugak. Apa yg buat kau terfikir nak buat origin Arban British-Mongolian? That's very rare and unique in a romance novel.
DeleteMaddy: What are you up to now, beb? Masih jual buku2 pre-loved lagi ke? ;)
DeleteLina: Hehehe... the rare and unique is one of the reasons why I decided to make him a British-Mongolian. Plus, it suits his nature loving personality and talent in creating scents.
DeleteSweet! Aku suka idea ko, beb! Always out of the box!

ReplyDeleteOh dear, this global warming effect. I hope it will be autumn soon in the UK so that you can read cozy books in your beautiful garden, Lisa ^_^
DeleteI had no idea you'd lived and studied in Manchester. How long were you living there? What was it about Manchester that inspired the book? I've yet to visit Manchester, so it'd be interesting to know what you liked about the city

DeleteMostly, I enjoyed the independence I had there. I stayed there for 2 years. To me, Manchester is a good choice as my first step out of the nest. The town is very convenience and student friendly. I like the cozy small town vibes the Manchester offered me. Plus, there are a lot of halal eateries there.
DeleteNow we're into Autumn here in the UK, I seriously need to pick up this book and read it, it sounds fantastic!
