Welcome back to my blog. I hope you guys are feeling excited to check out today's post, especially those who are fans of Fadima Mooneira's Book Heartthrob Profile episodes. It's because the Book Heartthrob Profile is back after five months hiatus. Hooray!!! Plus, it's the first Book Heartthrob Profile episode for 2026. This episode is special compared to the episodes before. It's because I'm going to introduce a book heartthrob I wrote myself to you guys. Yup, he is Arban Batsaikhan from my recently released novel, Manchester Epiphany. Yay!!!

ABOUT ARBAN BATSAIKHAN
NAME: Arban Batsaikhan
AGE: He was 29 at the beginning of the story and 35 when the story ends.
NATIONALITY: Arban is a British citizen of Kazakh-Mongolian descent.
OCCUPATION: Professional Perfumer
HIS ROLES IN THE STORY: He is the male lead and the love interest of the female lead, Yasmeen Aizura.
HIS GOALS:

HIS FIRST GOAL:
Arban loves his job as a perfumer, and he has a strong passion for creating scents. Besides his passion for perfume, Arban is also interested in Malaysia. Yes, he has the dream to move to Malaysia in the future. Arban believes that Malaysia is the land of opportunities. Arban is also very knowledgeable about Malaysia. Plus, he can speak Bahasa Melayu well.
HIS SECOND GOAL:
Arban feels an instant attraction and connection to Yasmeen when he first lays his eyes on her. Arban believes Yasmeen is an extraordinary woman. But when Arban gets to know Yasmeen, he doesn't just see her strengths; he also sees her flaws and parts of her that need attention. Arban also feels that Yasmeen is not ready for a romantic relationship. So he decides to take things cool with her. Arban knows that Yasmeen needs space to grow. He supports her for her growth. He supports her in achieving her dreams. And he also helps her to remain grounded. Seeing Yasmeen grow and thrive becomes part of Arban's life goal. And yes, he sees Yasmeen behind her armour and mask.
HIS PERSONALITY
Arban is portrayed as an easy-going dude. He is cool, humble, and grounded. Wolf is Arban's anima spirit. Portraying him as a cool, humble, and grounded dude makes him a good match for Yasmeen, who is an adventurous dreamer. Arban is also not scared to have a different opinion from others, especially on vanilla ice cream. Yes, liking vanilla ice cream does not make a dude not manly. Hehehe ^_^ Plus, Arban is not scared to share his unique opinions with others.
Arban is also portrayed as a nature-loving person. He loves flowers and animals. Portraying him as a nature-loving person suits his Mongolian heritage. Arban is also a fantasy addict. He is a huge fan of Game of Thrones and Harry Potter. Most of the perfumes that he designs are inspired by these fantasy TV series and movies. He also named his pets after GoT characters. Arban is a Ravenclaw, and there's a scene in the novel where Arban dresses in a Ravenclaw sweater, scarf, and beanie. The blue color suits his aura.
HIS PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES
Arban is also known as a tall-dark-and-handsome hunk. He has tan-brown skin, dark hair, dark eyes, distinctive features, and a tall, muscular body. Arban's handsomeness is out of this world and inhumane. Yeah, he is more handsome than a human. Arban's handsomeness is a mixture of a Greek deity and a Middle-Earth elf. The best fan cast for this character is SF9's former member, Rowoon, who is also famous for dramas like The King's Affection, Destined With You, She Would Never Know, Tomorrow, etc.
HIS BACKSTORY
Arban had a good childhood. He grew up well. He has a loving family and a best friend who is always there for him. But behind his blessings and coolness, Arban has one past trauma that he is scared to share with other people. Only his family and best buddy, L, know his past trauma.
When Arban was a teenager, he and his young uncle were hit by a tragedy. His uncle died on the spot. The tragedy remains in Arban's life. And one day, he might have to face it ...
MY OVERALL REVIEW OF THE CHARACTER
Arban Batsaikhan is a little bit different from my previous male leads, Wilson Cho (short story Pretty Pink Garden), Emil Muhayat (Fail Merah), Demian Wong (short story DanFo), and Haikal Kim (Saranghaeyo Namsan). Arban doesn't give Yasmeen a grand romantic treatment. There are no scenes of him giving Yasmeen flowers and luxury gifts. There are also no scenes of him whispering romantic cringing dialogues to Yasmeen.
But Arban is no less swoon-worthy than my previous male leads. Arban's love for Yasmeen is deep and alive. Arban is a protective hero. He protects his leading lady in terms of physical and spiritual aspects. Arban is always there for Yasmeen every time she is in trouble and needs him. Yes, guys, Yasmeen is a mess and a troublemaker :P But these flaws don't make Arban stop loving Yasmeen. He stays with her no matter what. And the most swoon-worthy thing about Arban is that he supports Yasmeen for her growth and helps her to align with her true self. He also helps her and makes sure she achieves her dreams.
The way Arban loves Yasmeen in his silence makes him special and more outstanding than my previous male leads. Among all my male leads, I enjoy writing Arban the most. And honestly, Arban is the closest to my ideal type ^_^
Real love is quiet and gentle. Real love doesn't need to be loud and grand. This is one of the messages I want my readers to bring home. Arban and Yasmeen's relationship is also different from those of my previous book couples. Their relationship are build on mutual support, trust, and patience. Unlike my previous book couples, Arban and Yasmeen are more like twin flames instead of soulmates. Their love involves self-discovery, healing, growth, and transformation. Arban and Yasmeen are each other's mirrors. They are catalyst to each other's spiritual growth. Together, they form an enduring and heartwarming bond that will warm your heart. And these are the things that make them special ^_^
