Eiyo buddies, cam  the lyric above? Its one of our patriotic anthem, 31 Ogos originally sang by our singing legend sensation the late Sudirman Haji Arshad.  Lagu nie sempene hari merdeka. Dah 53 tahun negara kite dah merdeka. Syukur Malaysia x dijajah org lagi. Atas usahe datuk nenek moyang kite........kite kini dpt hidup dlm pnuh keselesaan. Tiade prasaan dihambakan oleh mane2 penjajah lagi. 

I feel really thankful to our ancestors. Bcoz of them kite dpt hidup snang and not standing under the British, Japanese, Dutch, or even the Portuguese. I mule dpt rase kesyukuran jadi Malaysian since i've stayed in Manchester for 2 years. Before this i always wish i'm American becoz i spend my 5 years childhood in America. LOL! Stupid me! Studying in Manchester makes me feel what our ancestors feel before Malaysia merdeka. Staying at Manchester for 2 years buat i lbih knal sikap bekas penjajah kite (British) and it makes me more brani, confident, and proud being a Malaysian.  AKU ANAK MALAYA! AKU SUDAH MERDEKA! TIADA YG BOLEH MEMPERKECILKAN KU! 

Well lets share some history about merdeka here...............

Pada tahun 1956, Tunku Abdul Rahman mengetuai suatu rombongan ke London untuk membincangkan perkara-perkara mengenai kemerdekaan. Rundingan ini mengambil masa tiga minggu di London. Perjanjian London 1956 ditandatangani pada 8 Februari 1956 yang menyatakan persetujuan memberi kemerdekaan kepada Tanah Melayu. Sekembali ke Tanah Melayu, Tunku Abdul Rahman mengumumkan tarikh kemerdekaan di Melaka and that is on 31 August 1957.


Bendera Union Jack iaitu bendera British diturunkan di hadapan Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad, Kuala Lumpur pada tepat pukul 12 malam 31 Ogos 1957. Kemudian, Perdana Menteri Persekutuan Tanah Melayu, Tunku Abdul Rahman mengisytiharkan kemerdekaan di Stadium Merdeka. Jemaah Menteri diumumkan juga pada hari pengisytiharan kemerdekaan. 

Malaysia's first PM, Tunku Abdul Rahman (Bapa Kemerdekaan) mengistiharkan Merdeka pade 31 August 1957.

We have our own country and malaysia is our country.  This tuesday, 31 August 2010.........do sambut merdeka. Don't say you malas sambut merdeka just bcoz its puase now. Puase x menghalang kite sambut merdeka although kite x dpt makan and minum. Do kibarkan Jalur Gemilang at your home. Kalo kite x angungkan kan sendir Malaysia........sape lagi nak angungkan Malaysia. Have a nice merdeka and ingat 1 Malaysia. Rakyat Dihalukan Pencapaian Diutamakan. And x pnah lupe Wawasan 2020.
