BOOK HEARTTHROB PROFILE: ERHAN ZIKRI FROM BUKAN DARK METALIK

Btw, the Book Heartthrob Profile series is back with another swoon-worthy book heartthrob. For this month's episode, I'm going to share my analysis of Erhan Zikri. He is a book heartthrob created by Pynat Mouri for her novel, Bukan Dark Metalik (BDM).
Now let's begin this analysis with Erhan Zikri's profile...
ABOUT ERHAN ZIKRI
NAME: Erhan Zikri Fahim
AGE: 29 years old (It was mentioned by the author)
NATIONALITY: Malaysian
OCCUPATION: Project Manager
HIS ROLES IN THE STORY: The male protagonist & love interest to the female protagonist, Farah Hilani.
HIS GOALS:
Erhan wants to seek revenge on Hilani for ruining his reputation when they were back in high school. Because of the story Hilani created, Erhan received a bad name and had to move to another school.
Erhan asks his best friend, Hazreal to spy on Hilani. He applies for a job as a project manager at the company where Hilani is working. And that's when the game begins.
HIS PERSONALITY
Erhan begins as a very stoic, cold, and somber character. Erhan loves his late father dearly. To Erhan, nobody can replace Mr. Fahim's place. Erhan is not happy when his mother wants t to marry someone new. He becomes more somber when Hilani accuses him of a crime he did not do.
But as the plot evolves, Erhan grows into a very cheerful character. I like the way he teases Hilani. It is so cute and adorable. Auwww!!!
HIS PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES
Erhan is described by the author as a tall dark and handsome hunk. He has tanned skin and a masculine athletic figure. Erhan has dimples when he smiles. And Erhan's dimples are his distinguishing features. Pynat Mouri also portrays Erhan as a very suave and well-dressed man.
When I was reading BDM, I imagined Bridgerton's Regé Jean Page as Erhan. Like Erhan, Regé is also tall dark and handsome, masculine, suave, and well-dress.
HIS BACKSTORY
Erhan's father, Mr. Fahim died when he was a child. When Erhan was 17, his mother, Mrs. Hazura found a new man. And she decided to marry him. Erhan was not happy with Mrs. Hazura's decision. It made Erhan very unhappy and somber.
Erhan became more somber when Hilani accused him of a crime he did not do. This made Erhan a revengeful person.
MY OVERALL REVIEW OF THE CHARACTER
To be honest, I did not have a massive crush on this character while I was reading BDM. But I do like this character and believe he is a swoon-worthy book heartthrob. I also believe that Erhan Zikri is one of the most stunning male leads in Bahasa Malaysia romance novels.
This character is well-crafted by the author. The way Pynat Mouri portrays Erhan makes the story enjoyable to read. Erhan has his style and trademark (which is tall dark and handsome). He also has an interesting character arc. I like the way this character grows and changes as the plot evolves.
Okay, so this is my analysis of Erhan Zikri. He is a book heartthrob created by Pynat Mouri for one of her bestselling novels, Bukan Dark Metalik.

It sounds like Erhan Zikri's character changes well in this book and he develops beyond someone just seeking revenge (even if it may seem justified at first). Really great look into his profile!

DeleteWhat crime was he accused of that he didn't commit or was found guilty of, that caused him to have to change school and then seek revenge?
ReplyDeleteHilani told the teachers that Erhan and her used to date (actually they never date), and the relationship did not end well. She even told the teachers than Erhan is not happy with the break up. So he force her into the sick room with him.
