Perfect Crown falls under the romantic comedy genre, with a theme that reimagines South Korea as a royal country. The story is set in the 21st century in South Korea and follows a wealthy conglomerate girl named Seong Hui-Ju (IU). Hui-Ju seeks to overcome the social stigma of her commoner, illegitimate status by proposing a contract marriage to Grand Prince I-an (Byeon Woo-Seok). Prince I-an is facing political pressure from his late brother's wife, Queen Dowager Yoon Yi-Rang (Gong Seung-Yeon). The pressure Prince I-an faces makes him agree to marry Hui-Ju. But the problem doesn't rest with their contract marriage. Seong Hui Ju is the female lead in Perfect Crown. She is a bold and strong-willed cosmetic heiress with absolute confidence. Yup, she's an alpha female indeed. Hui Ju knows what she wants. She is brave and daring enough to go for what she wants. Nothing can stop Hui Ju. When she says she wants something, she is going to get it. Hui Ju never lets her past and background stop her from working on her dreams. That's why I like this character a lot and see her as a role model.
Playing Seong Hui Ju makes IU trade her usual ethereal charm for sharp, power-dressing silhouettes that reflect her character’s fierce ambition. #5 THE BOLD CINDERELLA LOOK

Taadaa!!! Every woman's fairytale fiction won't be complete without the Cinderella look. But this Cinderella is not a sweet and dainty one. She's fierce, sassy, and bold. IU wore this gown in episode 6: The Grand Royal Ball Proposal. I like the silhouette of this gown a lot. It matches IU's petite figure.
#4 THE FLAMING RED LOOK

IU looks good in all colors. But I believe red is the best color for her. Red makes IU look so hot and stunning. Actually, most women look good in red. That's why red is one of my favorite colors. I love this all-red look on IU. And I like that the stylist paired it with a white clutch. It makes the white clutch become an emphasis on the whole look. Kudos to the stylist!
#3 THE VIVIAN LAU VIBES

When I read Ana Huang's King of Wrath, I imagined IU as the female lead Vivian Lau. Vivian Lau is a jewelry heiress. Like Seong Hui Ju, Vivian is also very stylish and regal. Looking at the style IU pulled in episode 1 confirms to me that she is the perfect celebrity to be fan-cast as Vivian. Yes, the characters have the same vibes. And I believe this is the style Vivian Lau would wear in King of Wrath.
#2 THE DAHLIA JAMILAH VIBES

Besides red and other bold colors, IU also looks good in sweet pastel ones. Lilac really enhances IU's ethereal beauty. This style also reminded me of Dahlia Jamilah, the female lead in my first novel, Fail Merah. Btw, I fan-cast IU as Dahlia Jamilah ^_^ Dahlia is a lady PTD officer and civil servant. Clean and trendy is her style. Sweet and pastel are her colors.

This structured monochrome black suit by Balmain is really the winner! It's really the queen! Very classy, stunning, and elegant. This is the kinda look all girl bosses and CEO must possess. It makes a girl look professional and corporate. But it is also not too formal. I love this look a lot. I hope one day I will be able to customize this kinda suit for myself. Insya-Allah. Hehehe ^_^

IU looks simply adorable in this black-and-white checkered tailored top and pleated white miniskirt. It makes her look like a corporate pixie fairy. And the black Lady Dior handbag is definitely a winner ^_^
#2 THE ELEGANT CASUAL LOOK
This look is soooooooo IU. Very trendy and elegant. IU makes luxury look effortless. To me, the plaid baker boy cap is the winner. I love it a lot and am planning to get this kinda cap for myself. I want to wear it for the next book fair or meet & greet event. If anyone finds an affordable one on Shopee, do let me know yeh. Hehehe ^_^
