The Book Heartthrob Profile is back on Fadima Mooneira. Yay! I hope you guys are excited to check out this month's book heartthrob. Before I introduce him to you, let me make one announcement...
The Selangor International Book Fair (SIBF) 2024 will take place from the 27th of November to the 3rd of December 2024. The event will be held at Pusat Konvensyen Setia City Shah Alam. I and my six author friends (Nabun Ahmad, Amshida Ahmad Rani, Muzz Ahmad, Sarimah Abu Bakar, Suffiah Muhamad, and Zaitun Mohd. Razeli) will be participating in the event. Our booth number is S52. And the name of our booth is Karyawan Mandiri. If you guys are free on these dates and planning to come to the SIBF 2024, please visit our booth. We have loads of cool books for you to grab ^_^
Okay, that's the announcement I want to share. Now let's get back to today's objective. The book heartthrob I'm going to feature in this episode is Lucas Hunter. He is a book heartthrob created by Dynna Zain for one of her popular romantasy novels, The Gallant Princess. Now let's proceed with Lucas Hunter's profile...
ABOUT LUCAS HUNTER
NAME: Lucas Hunter
AGE ESTIMATED: Late 20's (26-29 years old)
NATIONALITY: He was born and raised in Lothenial (a fictional country in a fictional world)
OCCUPATION: He's a high-ranking military officer and works for the palace.
HIS ROLES IN THE STORY: He's the male lead and the love interest to the female lead, Alana Bowie.
HIS GOALS:
Lucas has two goals in The Gallant Princess. Firstly, he wants to claim something important that originally belonged to him. But I'm not going to tell you guys what it is. You need to read The Gallant Princess to find out. The truth will shock you. Hehehe :P
Secondly, Lucas loves Alana dearly. He stays committed to pursuing her even though he does not move fast.
HIS PERSONALITY
Lucas is portrayed as a very cool and smart dude. He is intelligent, quick-witted, and charming. He knows what's right. And he knows what he is doing. Lucas has his own strategy in pursuing his goals. And his strategy is not readable and predictable to other people.
HIS PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES
Lucas is a very handsome hunk. Like all romantasy heroes, he is very dreamy looking. Lucas is tall and all masculine. His skin is not so fair and not so dark. Lucas has greyish-blue hair and eyes. Btw, this is one of the reasons why I enjoy reading fantasy stories. The authors give unique physical attributes to their characters. I like characters with unusual eye and hair color ^_^
Lavender is Lucas's signature scent. Everything about him (his body, clothes, room, bed, etc) smells of lavender.
HIS BACKSTORY
Lucas comes from a very wealthy and powerful family. But unfortunately, he was betrayed by his greedy uncle after his parent's death. Lucas was also cast away from his family and home. Oh dear, poor Lucas :'(
However, Lucas remains strong. All he needs to do is work hard to get back what he deserves and teach his uncle a lesson.
Lucas has a strong passion for martial arts. He is a very skillful soldier. Plus, being quick-witted gives him an advantage in his career.
MY OVERALL REVIEW OF THE CHARACTER
For me, Lucas Hunter is one of the best heroes in a romantasy novel. Yes, I did have a crush on him while reading The Gallant Princess. Hehehe ^_^ I like that Lucas is cool, smart, intelligent, quick-witted, and charming. He is also romantic but not mushy. I like that.
I like the way he cares for Alana. He is always there for her when she needs him. And even though Lucas desires Alana, he is never pushy with her. He waits for the right time. I believe this is a good way to pursue the person of your dreams. Guys who are pushy are very uncomfortable. Hehehe... just sharing my thoughts :P
Last but not least, congratulations to Dynna Zain for crafting such a charming book heartthrob. Dynna, if you are reading this, please continue your good work. And please craft this kind of character more. You rock, babe ^_^
